For my dissertation, I am working collaboratively with state wildlife management agencies in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Alabama to establish an adaptive harvest management framework for public alligator harvest programs. In addition to facilitating structured decision making processes within each agency, I am developing integrated population models to capitalize on existing alligator monitoring data sourced from across the four participating agencies, which will be used to identify optimal regulatory strategies in the future.
