- Amit Kaushik (ICON & Anthropology PhD Candidate) received the ICON Agile Scientist Award,
- Wezddy Del Toro Orozco (ICON & Forestry and Natural Resources PhD Candidate) received the J. Peter Brosius Research Award for her work on the manuscript “‘People lie’: overcoming obstacles to incorporate social science research into biodiversity conservation,” published in Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente, in English (https://revistas.ufpr.br/made/article/view/86905/51177) and Portuguese (https://revistas.ufpr.br/made/article/view/86905/51176),
- Wezddy Del Toro Orozco (ICON & Forestry and Natural Resources PhD Candidate) also received the Ashley Block Memorial Award, and
- Dr. Lizzie King (Odum School of Ecology and Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources) was selected for the ICON Faculty Service Awards.
