Dr. Sonia Hernandez receives Russell Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching

Dr. Sonia Hernandez was selected as one of three recipients of the 2017 Russell Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, known as “the university’s highest early career teaching honor.”  Read the complete story here.

Dr. Hernandez is Associate Professor of Wildlife Disease, in a shared position between the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources and the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study, Department of Population Health, at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hernandez currently serves on the CICR Executive Committee as the Warnell School representative, and she is also actively involved in the ICON PhD Program.
